Kate Kaiser has been published in The St. Petersburg Review 2011-12, Fiction Fix Issue 9 - 2011, Thin Thread Stories: Mother & Grandmothers (Kiwi Publishing) 2011 and Mr. Beller's Neighborhood 2010. Kate's memoirs include, Letters to my Mother (but really for my father) and Love Sex Death Betrayal. She is currently finishing her third book, Learning to Drink Coffee in China. Kate won Fiction Fix's Issue 9 Editor's Choice Award. She was also nominated for the 2011 Pushcart Prize / 2011 Sundress Publication's Best of the Net Award for Dessert & Sudden Death by Fiction Fix. She has been featured in the Jersey Journal, Jersey City Magazine and the Hudson Reporter. In 2008, Kate was awarded an SLS Fellowship in St. Petersburg, Russia.
Kate performed Letters To My Mother (but really for my father) at the Emerging Artists' Theater Company's One Woman Standing series at the Tada Theater in Manhattan in 2011 and the SO LOW Theater Festival 2012 in Jersey City, NJ.
Kate Kaiser's verbal verse has been showcased at The Bowery Poetry Club, Cornelia Street Cafe and Nuyorican's Poet's Cafe in Manhattan. Art House Productions in Jersey City has been Kate's artistic sanctuary for nine years. Her featured show, Intimacy = Inta-MESSY, debuted there in 2008.
